What's The Difference Between Zenith's Builder Resources Link and the Zenith.aero Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers?

(Zenith is Smiling with Lynn Beckhorn in Washington)

We have noticed when talking with our Zenith Aircraft potential builders and existing builders and flyers that there may be some confusion when it comes to the difference between the Zenith Builder Resources Link and Zenith.aero Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers.

Some of the questions we have received are:

  • I thought they were the same, what is the difference?
  • I was not aware of the Zenith Builder Resources Link, where is it located and how do I gain access?
  • Can I gain access to these resources even though I haven't started building or flying a Zenith Aircraft?

We hope that the information provided will help explain the difference in a little more detail as both areas are very important resources for every Zenith builder and flyer to access.

The Zenith Builder Resources Link in the top right corner of the homepage on the Zenith Aircraft Company website (www.zenithair.com) provides technical support exclusively for Zenith builders and owners. Zenith Aircraft adds updates of drawings, photo assembly guides, and/or important company notices to keep builders up-to-date on the model of aircraft that they own. When builders have technical support questions, the Builder Resources Link is first stop they should make to gain access to the information they are looking for. Zenith builders that do not already have the password to access this link can contact us for the information needed. There are also links to the Zenith Online Store for purchases and the Zenith.aero Online Community of Builders and Flyers located on the Zenith Builder Resources page.

Zenith Aircraft offers an Online Community of Builders and Flyers website called Zenith.aero exclusively for Zenith Aircraft builders and flyers. This website offers Zenith customers the opportunity to create their own aircraft blog and share building and flying experiences with other Zenith customers around the world! The Zenith.aero website gives Zenith Aircraft builders and flyers a way to communicate with one another about their project and to share building and flying tips. It also provides a great opportunity to ask questions while they are in the building process and the ability to gain the opinions of other Zenith builders when they need them. It is a great way to show off Zenith building progress and flying adventures after their build is complete!

Let's sum up the difference:
When Zenith Aircraft builders need technical support from the Zenith Aircraft factory the Zenith Builder Resources Link is very important and should be the first location visited for information. When Zenith Aircraft builders want to gain the opinions of other builders, share their building progress and flying adventures the Zenith.aero website is the best place to be!

We hope that this information is helpful. Thank you for sharing your Zenith adventures with us! The featured photos and videos in this blog are only a few of many that have been shared over the years on the Zenith.aero Online Community of Builders and Flyers website! The builder resources site link to CH701 and CH750 bulletins : wingstrut and airframe corrosion inspection, dated 19 Jan 2016 does not work. The other links work OK.

is there another place to view this information?

Basically the Builder Resources is the up-to-date build manual whereas Zenith.aero is the guys in your flying club or at your airport that you can go to for advice and sharing know-how.
