How much friction / how free should the main flap control tube be on a 750 when fitted I don’t want to rivet it just in case. I can turn it by hand without much effort but is not free like in a normal baring. thanks

Hi Fred it’s the first tube you can install between the fuselage sides the flap motor attaches to it, the bushes are free of paint and are greased it just feels dragging

Are you talking about the torque tube

the rear bearing on the torque tube isn't bored at a angle like the pieces it's mounted to.

also don't over tighten the front bolt in the torque tube you could cause a tube to go out of round in the bearing

I learned that one the hard way
