TOUCH AND GO AT BRIAN RANCH AIRPORT IN MOJAVE DESERT.  I HAVE 5 HOURS NOW FLIGHT TESTING. ALL SEEMS GOOD. WOT GOES 100 MPH AT 7000 DENSITY ALTITUDE.  DEAD STICK LANDINGS WITH FLAPS AND NO FLAPS PRETTY MUCH LIKE CESSNA 150 AT 60 OR 54 MPH.  BOUNCES AROUND IN THERMALS A LITTLE.  THE RUDDER I'M STILL GETTING USED TO.  MIGHT TAKE THE NOSE GEAR V-BLOCK AND GET RID OF THE CENTERING DETENT SO IT MOVES SMOOTHER, SEEMS TO STICK THERE AND NEEDS MORE PRESSURE THAN I'M USED TO IN OTHER PLANES.  OTHERWISE JUST LOVE IT, CAN HARDLY WAIT TO GET GOOD AT FLYING IT AND TRY IT OUT AT NIGHT.  FLYS HANDS OFF.  ZENITH DID A GREAT JOB WITH THIS ONE AND THE ROTAX COMBO.  FLEW 1.3 AND USED 4.5 GALLONS, ALMOST LIKE MY PRIUS!  FLEW AT 54 TO 60 MPH FOR 7 MINUTES ON STEEP CLIMB OUT AND GOT OIL TO 235 DEGREES WHEN AT 11,000 DENSITY ALTITUDE AND 78 DEGREE OAT.  AT LOWER SPEEDS AROUND 65 TO 70 NEVER OVER 221 DEGREES. LOVE THIS PLANE!!!

Thank you for deciding not to buy it!  Hope you have as much fun flying it as I am.  Just did cross controlled stalls, full rudder and I am still waiting for it to break, nothing just a little buffet, unbelievably forgiving design.  My slips with full rudder no flaps get me going down about 900 feet a minute at 60 mph.  My slips with full flaps, full rudder seems not to change the rate of descent much or maybe by just a little?  Also only did one as the bladder was calling me home!  Back from a week at Boy Scout Camp so it's time to get flying and testing again. The accelerated stalls with up to 30 degrees of bank have been a non event as well, just a buffet, no wing drop. The next tests will be accelerated stalls up to 60 degrees of bank as per AC 90-89A and more full flap slips to verify the rates of descent.  Get that bad boy done and go out and have some real fun!!!!

Aren't you glad I decided not to come down there and buy it from you? Well along on my own now...
