Cross country trip in Australia.

Just flown my 701 1034 nm from Yackandandah in Victoria Australia to Townsville. Two days 13 1/2 hours. Great trip apart from a small whirlwind tried to flip the plane whilst I was on the ground refuelling.

For all those of you that are still building I can say that it is all worth it. The only thing I would change now is to reduce the cabin noise. Don't know how i am going to do that yet.

Looking forward to exploring a new area.

Will done Gordon that I a good X county trip. A good set of headsets might be the answer to the noise maybe Santa will put a set of Zulu 2s under the tree

Great to hear of your adventure & successful build completion. Cabin noise??? In the CH701's I have flown the bulk of the noise seems to be projected at your head from the baggage hat rack. Kind of like your head in the opening of a garbage can while somone beats on it. Perhaps look at sound deading material in this compartment first. I'm sure there must be another builder who "carpeted" the hat rack baggage area with results to report.
