One of the advantages of a STOL airplane is the ability to explore the countryside and to land at non-traditional airfields (a.k.a. farm fields and country roads). Weekend trips usually include overnight stays, usually in a pup-tent.
At the Sebring Sport Aircraft Expo, Bjorn Spelter of Germany demonstrated his new tent on the STOL CH 701:

This lightweight tent uses no tent poles at all...

And instead uses the wing as the roof and structure...

The adjustable "wingbag" is pulled over the wing and the tent is up – just push the aluminum pegs in the ground!

The tent is of double layer construction for good "climate control" and protection...

and easier to set up than a conventional tent...

Makes me want to go camping with my 701!

The tent is adjustable to accommodate the taller and larger 750 or 801 models (or most high wing planes), and weight about 7 pounds... Let me know what you think... we could offer it as an option in custom colors and with the Zenith logo...

I'd buy one...what a cool idea. Needs to be a 4-man tent for the 801.

See you Thursday-Friday at the workshop.

That is true under wing camping... I love it. ;>)
It would make an excellent Christmas / Birthday gift for the CH701 / CH750 ? CH 801 pilot who already has everything he needs in his Zenith aircraft.

Excellent tent for a "Oshkosh" or "Sun-N-Fun" type flyin.

"Remove before flight" could be a nuisance if flying from a base camp:
