I'm back in the US. I'm moving in a few weeks, so won't get much done before the Christmas break. My form and cutting blocks shipped home ok- I was worried about getting them through customs. I made a trip to Harbor Freight and got some tools yesterday.

Larry- I would, but not sure what my schedule will be like. I'm going to Fort Huachuca for some schooling, so I won't be free to take leave like I normally would. I'm not to the point of putting my own Corvair engine together, but would definitely attend if I could, should one take place in the area.

Thomas- I'd love to meet up at Casa Grande if we both make it there in March. How are you doing flying off the hours in your 750? Would be fun to see the plane if you make it down that way for a fly in.

Adam do you think there would be interest in a corvair college in the Phoenix/Tucson area?

Thanks Bob. I'll be certain to look you up if I am in the area.

Welcome home, compadre. I am impressed you got some building in during your deployment. In sunny South East Asia in the early 70's that was not really an option, at least not for flight crew. If you ever make it to the Northeast US (central NH, specifically) look me up for a Stinson ride and a Zenith project overview. Enjoy your time with your family and good luck in your new posting.

Welcome Home, Adam! After having gone through a couple of deployments myself, I know how it feels to have one's feet back on US soil!

Thanks all. I'll be moving from Colorado Springs (Fort Carson) to Sierra Vista, AZ (Fort Huachuca) in NOV. I'll definitely make Bruce's build a top site to see along the way (or at least make it up to PHX soon after).

Don't forget to stop in on your way thru PHX
