The Turbine Zenith 701 (742DE) flew over 1200 miles at 300’ over Lake Livingston last week in an attempt to locate a lost fisherman. We unfortunately did not save a life this time but I was sure impressed with the utility of the 701 to perform this type of search. It was gratifying to be able to help and I would recommend that all of you that have 701/750 consider letting local law enforcement know if you have time to volunteer.

Scott---We talked a while back about your ti firewall. I don't know if you've seen this on ebay, I ordered one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TITANIUM-SHEET-ALC-AMS-4901-016-/120730460470?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c1c18a136 With your setup and the price on these you could make a little on firewalls for planes. They're accepting offers and if you bought the lot you could probably get them for about a quarter of their worth. Plus, they're in fort worth.--ben
Ken Ryan said… Scott, the price is $23,500 and that includes engine mount, cowling and a bunch of other firewall forward stuff, some of it quite valuable. Reason for sale: sold my airframe.

Will you be able to post some numbers on the performance soon? Way cool project. I would like to follow along with your progress.

john w kreeger jr said… hello scott, thank you for answering my email. i am very interested in possibly getting some prints of the driveshaft setup , so i might be able to have one made here. i also noticed that you changed drive setups with the new turbine engine , i believe that to be a newer jfs 100 , if i am successful in getting this engine running , i would like to put it in a 750 zodiac. john kreeger. kreeger.bill@yahoo.com
