I have been looking at other builders experiences and noticed your last comment was a longtime ago.
I recently lost my job of 31yrs. And have not done much with my 801 lately, Have you done any more with your aircraft. It sucks to have life get in the way of building. I recently got a new job and now will continue on. This project needs a lot of concentration. I'm getting close to retirement myself. And was wondering if retirement ment retirement from building? Hope not. Best regards
Queen Creek is on the south east side of Phoenix, close to Gilbert. I'm building an 801 with a mazda RX7 engine. I started before they came out with the 750. I don't know if it would have changed anything if they had a 750 then. I have most of the airframe built and working on getting the engine running. It should go together fast once it starts.
Good luck with yours and we'll have to get together talk zenith sometime...
You bet Ron! Look forward to getting together. I have the MSD ratcheting plug wire pliers if you need to build your plug wires and probably other engine building tools you may need when the time comes. If I can be of any future assistance to you just give me a shout. I really enjoyed putting the engine together.
Hi Ron, I see you mounted the wings to the fuselage. Congratulations!!!! I am working on the forward fuselage now and hope to have it on the gear in the next month or so. Its nice to see some more 750's getting ready to fly. Larry Oswell
