General Building Contractor. Self employed since 1951
retired since 1993. Started as apprentice carpenter in 1939 in
San Francisco.US Army 1942 to1946 14th Armored division,
US air force, 86th Infantry Division Cannon Co.Soloed in a Piper
J-3 Cub in 1938. Had a grand total of 6hrs and 30min when I
met the girl I married,she did not like airplanes.

Between doctor visits, two carpal tunnel surgeries (helped but did not cure), Two cataract surgeries, one knee replacement (second one) One
injection out of three in my right eye to prevent going blind. Despite all
this I think that my progress has been good. I started in the later part of May 2007 with the rudder kit from Quality Aircraft in Cloverdale, California. The rudder, stabilizer, wings are complete except for the nose skin ( I had to brush up on my welding for the fuel tanks They are
now finished and tested). In the meantime I started The fuselage. I have the front skins clecoed ready for the disassembly, deburring, priming, reassembly and riveting. After that I do not know what I will
do next, probably the nose gear and main gear'
