Outboard fuel tank sensor

Has any one tried to remove the fuel gauge sensor from the outboard fuel tank [ long range ] tanks on a 601, I have an inspection hole between the two ribs.Continue

Ray,

Thanks for the post. I keep meaning to arrange a visit to your place. I am working on the right wing right now. Onve that gets near complete I can start the left one. Hopefully should go a bit quicker. Just bent a new leading edge skin this morning and have it half installed. i have all this week off work so will press on with this.

I got this kit second hand and it had a Jabiru 3300S motor with it. Would e 8 years old now but never run. I am pulling it apart next week hopfully and converting it to solid lifter, through bold mod and hone the bors as thereis a little rust in there now. Doing this all through CAMIT. Plan to have that back together in the new year.

See how I go later this year with the left wing. Might have all the big parts done by the end of summer. Not saying which year though :)

What registration are you aiming for with your aircraft? RAAUS or Experimental?
