The continental is a good engine but about 35 lbs. too heavy, burns a lot of fuel. I have 4 tanks so I could have a decent range. Currently trying to solve cooling problems. On the positive side I like the dependability of the Continental and also the cost, with new cylinders and a complete overhaul the engine is about half of the Rotax. Also the build was more difficult and time consuming .Hope this helps.
