Is there any info available to help an all-thumbs type (me) install the supports used to hold the CH-750 doors open? Like, measurements, photos, comments.Continue

I just installed elevator VGs on my 750 IAW Zenith instructions with good results.

Performance

My 750 has an O-200 engine and I NEVER see 1000 FPM climb or 100MPH cruise or the claimed range. I would love to hear what other folks have found.

750 Flying Technique

Posted on June 29, 2011 at 7:35am 0 Comments

Currently I'm focusing on landing the 750 under a range of configurations and circumstances . . . and I find the process challenging and FUN. I find turning from base fo final and on down to the numbers holding 60 seems comfortable, with or without power. Without power flare is nearly nonexistent. I like to have the wheels touch just as the stick is full back. I would love to hear how others relate to flying (and especially landing) the 750. Peter

CH-750 POWER-OFF FULL-FLAP LANDING TECHNIQUE

I am not feeling comfortable doing power-off full-flap landings in the "Z" Bird. I look forward to hearing from those who have perfected the technique.  Approach speed? Over the numbers? Wind correction? Tips? Please, share your experience!

Peter, Hello from T69. Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I dont spend a lot of time online. Have not started building my rudder yet, too many other projects going on. I think i will start when it cools off a little. How is your plane doing? Have you landed on beach yet? Wayne
