Finished up my 5 hour test period. The New B Model is back in the air.

Just about ready to fly. I kind of took my time, But am ready to go flying again.

Got the upgrade kit the other day. Finished up a stab trim mod and started on the center wing.

Wasn't as bad pulling the center section as I thought. Glad I put in a lot of connectors when I originally built it.

Just about done cleaning up the wing. Trying to figure out the best way to remove the center wing without cutting/splicing a lot of wires.

Pulled the wings and removed the aileron and flap. Going to go ahead and polish while I have it in my shop at home.

I was passing through Wellington KS last week in a CJ jet and stopped for a load of fuel. You taxied by, made a fast taxi and then took off..... Plane looked and sounded GREAT !!!!.

Matt, I've been meaning to thank you for the tool tips, etc. you've posted. I've added your suggestions to my wish list, but I had to make do with what I had. A month ago I didn't own a riveting hammer and like most tools, it's about the accessories.

I only dinged one hole on the wing spar, so I'm happy. I expect much better results on the next wing.

Hi Matt,

If and when I do the upgrade, my plan is to combine the wirs that have to be cut into one or two Molex connectors. I think that would be the least annoying way to deal with the situation. Even a common shield ground could be dedicated to one of the pins in the connector.

I like my polished finish. I did not polish the bottom, only the top. I have about 75% of the disassembly complete now and have spent 17 hours doing it. I figure 25 hours, tops for all disassembly. Total labor should run around 100 hours.
