I have been keeping tabs on your progress through some of the other St. Cloud folks, mostly Prigs. Sounds like you are making great progress.
701 is going great, put bubble doors on this winter, really like the extra room.

The light was not from Zenith. The Can-Zac folks had a different light they recommended. I was busy over Easter, so did not look in my paperwork for the name of the light mfgr. My engine of choice is the Jab 3300. The price is up there.. and money is tight right now, so I am not sure yet.

Larry as to landing lights. I had a nice talk with the folks at Zenith. With the 750 it's very easy to add them later by running the wiring thru the struts, and attaching them where the strut attaches to the wing. They had the recommended parts, but I wll have to look thru my paperwrok to find the details.

Larry, I am not on my gear yet. I had a bad seat channel, did not realize it, and struggled getting everything around it to fit. I finally asked Caleb, and he said it was bent wrong, and they are sending me a replacement. Besides, I'm on the slow build plan. It's nice to know someone close is building. Larry, I put a Suzuki 3cyl. 660 turbo snowmobile motor in my 701 and it works great. The motor puts out 112 hp at takeoff. I had 63 hours on it before the snow started flying. I have a Cessna 180 with a Robertson Stol and the 701 makes the 180 look sick on the takeoff run. I will say it does not glide very well when you pull off the power, you have to put the nose down. I think you will like the 750. Al

I'm not experienced enough to come close to making some of the same mistakes I did before. I am really trying to slow down a little and be more cautious than I have been in the past. It seems to help.
