The use of a pair of toe nail clippers to remove the tail will give you a clean flush cut. No more @#$# when you reach behind the panel and you contact this type of clamp.  Continue

i am trying to determine if I have a problem, I am only seeing 2500 rpm at max throttle in cruise at 5000 feet. Airspeed is 100-105 mph not knots.
This is with the he sensinich wood prop supplied by AMD
What I am trying to determine is this normal for a 601xl with the continental o-200 ?
I would expect 2700 max at about 120 mph.
Before I start looking for a fix, I would like to know what you are seeing with a continental powered 601xl with the sensinich prop?
Thanks for your input.

Where are you located in Owasso.  I just bought a Zenith 650B kit and will be building it out of my hanger on Gundy airport.  How is your Zodiac XL coming.
