Finished all the structural build of all the sub-systems this Spring (2017) and spent the Summer painting the exterior and interior base colors. I used the PPG Concept Urethane system, Soft Yellow exterior and Ultra Silver (gray) interior. Exterior will get metallic Dark Blue accent scheme later. Good, hard curing system but a challenge to use well. Finally mastered it and overall good outcome! Starting final assembly this month (October).

CH 750 Fuel Caps

Posted on October 23, 2017 at 7:17am 0 Comments

Have seen the posts regarding Fuel Cap leaks and the responses. Has anyone had issues with venting with the factory supplied vented caps?  Patty Wagstaff had an interesting article in this month's Plane and pilot regarding fuel cell venting.  Still building but curious what others have seen with the factory product.
