First of all you may notice that we have skipped that past couple of Zenith Rudder Workshops while moving full speed ahead on the 3 projects that we had going here at once.
I am now feeling like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel to finish up my own plane. Although not complete yet, I thought it would be wise to begin checking with them concerning the registration and certification process.
Fortunately for me I had to be in Oklahoma City on business so I hand carried…

Today we hosted another luncheon for a group of Zenith Rudder Workshop participants.
They keep growing in size. I'm not sure if it's because Zenith is selling more kits or we are doing such a great job with lunch that people are coming just for that.
In either case we certainly enjoy having everyone join us.
If you are ever in the area please take the time to stop by and visit our Builder Assist & Assembly Center here in Mexico, Mo. not far from the Zenith…

As most of you know, American Light Sport Aircrafters have been holding a Tail Section Workshop which runs in conjunction with the Zenith Rudder Worksop each month here at our facility in Mexico, MO.
Each month I am asked if we have considered doing others so it became clear that there are literally hundreds of…

Yesterday we had another visit from Sebastien, Caleb, and Roger from Zenith along with all of the Rudder workshop attendee's.
We have begun hosting a luncheon for each of the rudder workshops which gives the builders a chance to see other projects being worked on and hopefully gives them some ideas of their own.
It's not like the free vacation with the 2 hr, high pressure sales pitch for a time share at the end.
This truly is a FREE LUNCH!
So, if you are planning…

Timothy Stephens Minor said… Thanks Bill. Have to connect the part of the fuel line which I changed in order to include a gascolator in the system. Then done (if it runs smooth at idle this time). Tim
Peter Davis said… Many thanks, Bill. Yes, I plan to visit the Zenith factory if all works as planned, in September. My 701 project is going well. I have most of the "rudder," horizontal stabilizer and elevator done, except for controls. I've had lots of other project distractions, and am really anxious to make major progress starting in the fall. Many thanks again.
Rick Rehg said… Thank you Bill. I will be in touch. I recently started working once again on my project. I feel you support will help me stay focused and get my plane completed. I do want to talk with you about speeding up the process after I get my wings completed.
Rick
PS What is the feedback on the Viking Engine?
Thanks Bill,I would love to visit one day should the oppurtunity arise. Living here in Zimbabwe puts my along away away from you, fortunately your are only a click away on internet. I am just waiting for the cost of FEDEX to send the plans to me and then my project can come to life.
Thank You Bill. We'll be in touch.
Thanks Bill...I'm sure I'll get down to Mexico for a flight and I'll stop by.
Dan
Bill,
Thanks for the hospitality. I attended the builders workshop on 6/23 - 6/24/2011.
Bill,
Thanks for the invite. We've already been to the factory once, to fly an 801 and a 750. We missed you guys on that trip.
We will make it a point to visit the next time we are up. And I'm sure there will be several trips!
david junkins said… Hi Bill:
Dave Junkins here in Bloomington, IN. I am really enjoying building this 750 emensly. Compared to other planes I have built this is supremely easier and with the best directions ever. With that said, I need to know if the elevator trim servo motor has been changed. The directins I have indicate a square motor with several wires coming out. The motor I think I have appears to be shaped like a gun and has only two wires, a black and a red. If these have been changed, I do not have the servo motor connectin rod (T2-7A-TS). I think it is just a small worm gear between the motor and tab (75T4-7). Is this something I should take up with the factory? Dave
