Scratch-built STOL CH 750: I started April 20th 2009, aside from the three month vacation to Florida, it took me 13 months to complete. It has a continental O-200A engine.

I would be glad to add you as a friend.  Cannot say that I know where Wooster is though. How far are you from Columbus?  I am presently hiding from winter in Costa Rica. Plan on returning in March or April.  My plans built 750 was begun a couple of years ago as a STOL.  I had finished (90%) the fuselage and am converting to Cruzer. Have empenage is well under way with rudder and elevator completed and the stabilizer left to assemble (all parts are made or bought). My wings are (were!) coming along well with all the parts made and one of the wings assembled on the table ready to rivet and turned over to do the top. Hope to talk to Caleb on Monday about these wing changes.

Let's get together when I return O.K.?

I just saw your plane posted as compleated, congratulations!!!  I am also scratch building my 750. looks like you did make a few changes. Any real problems you had along the way? Any changes you made out of necessity? I started mine in june of 2010, so far I have a rudder, rear and front fuselage, and controls. My engine will be Lyc. 0-235 that I'm rebuilding. great to here that it can be done. HAPPY FLYING, Paul

I finished my scratch built 701 in April 09 and enjoying the flying but experiencing bad builder's withdrawal symptoms..... I'm very interested to see how you like the 0200 on the plane. Keep in touch.

Congratulations Ben!!! But I'm sorry to say. After about 6 months you will start getting builders withdrawls. GOOD LUCK!

That's quite an accomplishment, congratulations. Please post more often about your 750 if you can!
