Best places to find Lyc cores

I’ve made the decision to put an O-320 in my airplane. It’s a few years from being completed, but I wanted to ask the group where they look when it’s time to find a good deal on a used engine, a core for rebuilding, used factory parts, etc. Basically if a good deal comes up, I want to snag it and put it on ice until it’s time to hang it on the fuselage. Since we’re on the topic, any pointers on what to look out for, good and bad? I have the Lycoming manual and the lists of all the different…See More

Keep working weekly and even daily if possible.  Even if it is just studying the next step. Before you know it you'll have the horizontal tail and elevator done!

Good luck!

Hi Austin,

I am a first time builder and about 80% done with my 750 project.  I have been working for two years now.  I live in MN but I am going to be in SLC on the 17th - 20th of August to visit family.  If you would like to I would be happy to meet to look at your project and share perspectives for a few minutes if we can arrange it during those days.  Just message me and we'll see what we can do.  I am done with all tail components, wings, flaperons, and slats.  I am currently working on both aft and forward fuselage sections, controls, fuel system, antennas, wiring, etc.
