Once the engine is back on the front end I will be able to adjust the compression on the puck system.

Bob, not sure.  Seems in an earlier thread about this some people had done a 701 and the 650 though.

Is the system retrofit able to older Zenith air frames? Example CH701 & CH601HD. It looks very clean & simple.

Alain, no real significant weight savings expected the two systems are comparable from what I've read.  I did not actually weigh either system myself, but there is a thread on this which seems to indicate the weight difference is negligible.  My main reason for changing out was twofold. First, I recently noticed that the center threaded rod of the Viking system was occasionally rubbing the top center engine mounts.  If you look at the pic, you can see two black Adel clamps I placed to protect the engine mount tubes. Secondly, the Viking steel spring system is rather noisy on anything other than smooth pavement.  I would have changed out eventually for that reason alone.

Looks good.

Do you expect some level of weight-saving with the change? My 650 is a bit nose heavy... considering the switch.
