Saw this pick and thought the idea could be beefed up with steel plate screwd to face of boards and steel channel on the backside to keep it true.

I know on the long bends with the 040 It takes all I can give and bows my break in certian areas, and mine is made from 1/2 - 6 inch steel with angle iron reinforcements.  I see alot of people use the brake made from wood it must work fine.  What ever you cant do with the wood one just come over and use mine.
