Almost the last leg of the flight home, Fairlie basin in the far distance, (behind last row of brown hills) then all down hill for the run to our home strip. I was surprised at how warm it was today even at altitude, engine temps a good few degrees warmer than they have been for a few weeks now(even with new radiator fitted yesterday) cabin vents cranked wide to keep me cool. Oh well winter on the way for us southern hemisphere folk soon. small lake at centre of photo is man made and sports a holiday cabin on the banks, a little paradise.
