So excited and very much looking forward to attending the Open Hangar Days this year.  Won't be flying my 701 on this trip but it certainly is on my bucket list to eventually bring "The Spirit of Butte" back to it's birthplace via the same route that Lewis and Clark followed between Three Forks, Montana and St. Louis, along the Missouri River.  Maybe next year...

A heads up for any drag racing fans that are coming to the Open Hangar Days; the NHRA Mellow Yellow Series will also be in St. Louis on that same weekend.  I and my eldest son will be at Gateway Raceway on Sunday cheering Mr. Ron Capps on to another Wally!  Then on Monday evening, my son and I will be cheering the Cardinals on to a win over the Cincinnati Reds!  Can hardly wait!  :-)

The Sam EX would make a good looking retractable Tail Dragger. Kind of like a tandem Global Swift. You could call it the Sam RG

Aircraft has better ramp appeal as a tailragger
