Stu Duncan built & flies a CH701 (Rotax 912S). This morning Stu e-mailed he was coming to visit..."To check out this whole float mounting business". Stu has a set of 1150 CZAW amphib floats to install on his CH701 this summer. We took this picture to give a size reference to the known CH701.

The CH750 does not perform well on floats with either the Rotax 912 100 hp or the Jabiru 3300 120 hp. Basically the CH750 weighs 135 lbs more empty than the CH701 and therefore its performance suffers.

I'd love to know some performance numbers with the Rotax and the floats. I was lead to believe that the 100hp wasn't enough for the 750 on floats?!
