Did first strut today. For some reason I was expecting the strut attach bracket and strut to align...? Also the infamous A5 rivet interference is plainly visible. Will try to double flush that rivet if possible. $$$ for the tool I fear!!

Picture of my fix...

Update on the A5 rivet interference.  I was able to use a pancake drill to countersink the backside of the strut attach bracket, countersink the front and was able to then "slightly" squeeze and set the A5 rivet into position.  Finally I used a bucking bar and rivet gun to finish up.  Came out well, will add picture when I get back up to the hangar.
