Hey Joe, yes I think you are absolutely correct!  I've read about the noise and flexing issues seems everywhere. I think using Ls any weight would be negligible and the easiest solution. Not getting to carried away.  Read about using extra foam ribs in the wings, have to cross that bridge eventually also.
