Here the Zenair 1450 Amphibian floats are joined by the spreader bars. Width at center line of float is 2000 mm or the same as the CH750 on wheels! Ready for the trip to the hangar for installation. A piece of wood 2"X2" holds the nose wheels down as there is presently no hydraulic pressure to do this. The main gear tires have an "over centre lock" feature that keeps the wheels locked down without hydraulic oil pressure. This also limits the hydraulic system from over pressure / line rupture in the result of a hard landing (something I never do...unless my Dad is watching ;>)

Looks great......wish I could build as quickly as you do.  I am now waiting on my wing kit.  Having a great time but wish I could spend a little more time at it.
