Hello Joe

The new leading edge was designed by an aeronautical engineer whose kept the original Ch 750 wing chord.

As a conclusion the Center of Gravity (CG) was not changed, as well the weight and balance not changed at all. the maiden flight with this modifications happened 2 years ago (I´ve flown more than 150 hours since that maiden flight). I am convinced that this new wing design inspired Zenair to develop a 750 Cruzer!

HI Waldo,

I must have been sleeping; I did not notice that you changed the nose profile. How did you come up with a profile? Interesting stats. Did it seem to change your centre of lift (change your in flight balance)? BTW, I love the look of your plane!

Hi Joe

Actually I noticed that the new wing leading edge and fairings improved the speed around 8 kt (Cruise speed) . Interesting is that the stall speed increased not too much (from 35mph to 38mph- flapes down). The lenght for take off and landing was logically increased but not too much either.  I am quite happy with these improvements.

Did you notice any improvement with the fairings (upper and lower strut intersections)? They look nice.
