Haha, thanks Joe - that is all good to know!

Hi Matt, I do use the shelf a lot which is one of the things that I like about this set up. The other is the visibility that I gained out the right side. Other than that I am not sure I would do it like this again. I certainly would not tip the instrument back like I did. I also have the problem that if I want to add another instrument (I was thinking about installing a GMC 507 autopilot controller) I have no where to put it. The configuration has brought a fair bit of attention but that doesn't make me a better pilot..;-)

Hi Joe - very cool panel! I was thinking about doing something similar in my 701 and I'd like to know if you would do anything differently in your panel if you had to build it again. I saw in one video you said you wouldn't tilt the screen back because you have to lean forward to reach it - anything else like that? Do you find yourself using the shelf space, or is it not really useful? Thanks.

He has my drool marks all over it from OSH, about the finest and most out of the box I've seen. You really appreciate it when you sit in the seat, it's like sitting in a helicopter with the visibility and layout, truly amazing and quite a piece of workmanship. Uncluttered, well laid out, and all business, really like the shelf, quite unique.
