Just saw this pic... HOLY COW Peter!!!! That's gonna rock! Wish I would have thought of the hinge idea... I redid mine to make a large subpanel on the right that is removable so at least I have some access. I wish the top skin didn't have to be riveted on though but your idea is great! :)

Finally got my panel. The cut outs are for two 10" Dynon SkyView panels. The entire panel is mounted on a hinge and held in place with nut plates. This will provide easy access for installing the wires and later on for maintenance once the dashboard and the windshield are in place.
