Flying the Evektor SportStar with Rotax 912 ULS - my XL-B will be hopefully somewhat similar to this aircraft :-)

Hi Sebastien. Very cool picture of Alpine Country approach :-). Lufthansa unfortunately is not flying to any city close to Carson City. A couple of years ago, during a SFO layover, I flew an XL at Santa Rosa, but I think that is Ynot for rent anymore. There also was one at KTOA Torrance (I rent there when flying to LAX) but I think they only have a SportCruiser now. Hope my own XLB will be ready for first flight here in Switzerland by end of next year.

Martin: They have similar weight and wing loading, so they should be somewhat close...

Buzzair Flight Academy in Carson City, Nevada (Lake Tahoe) rents a 601 XL-B SLSA (with Continental O-200 engine).  It's a beautiful area of the country with mountains and desert next to each other (and high altitudes).
