Ron,

Here is my understanding. I am not the "expert".  The boost pump is on for starting, takeoff,  landing, or rough engine conditions.  The purge unit has an activation switch (mechanical). You activate only in a hot start condition.  This provides fresh cool fuel to the system so I don't think it will affect the Dynon flow significantly.  The engine driven pump does come with the engine.  My tanks did not come with the return point.  I live in Shelbyville, Ky.  I look forward to working with you on this install.

Tom, I printed your fuel  schematic. I understand use for the fuel shut off before the gascolator, but I will just pinch off the line for cleaning. The boost pump, is it for starting, or is it always on, or is it for emergency only? The dynon fule flow isn't going to give accurate readings if some fuel is returned to the tank after measurement. Does the engine drive pump come with the engine? What is the purge assembly? How did you get this info from Lycoming. I asked the have them send the engine documantation when I paid the deposit but nothing has come. The battery can change the balance. A G-24 @ 24# to below the bagage compartment = 24X60"=1440 ft-lbs. of shift. Maybe leave open the location of the battery untill complete and then a weight and ballance to make a decision. One of your tanks should have come with a return fitting, I think the right. 502 you are in Kentucky.
