Installing the firewall float attachment bracket made by Zenair. Rotax 912S supported by walk behind fork lift. Loosen upper motor mount bolts, remove lower motor mount bolts and slide rebuilt Zenair float attachment bracket behind motor mount base against the firewall. The 1/8" thick float bracket will change motor angle, but not enough to worry about unless cowling issues around spinner. I have seen this simple walk behind fork lift unload CH750 crates from tractor trailers. This is at Can-Zac in Kitchener with Mark Townsend assisting. There is no interior in my CH750 because I am also installing the Baggage Panel Doubler kit after my baggage panel developed stress cracks at 80 hrs flight time. My paint and graphics are getting messed up on this repair.

Why can't the make the float mount to e install on top of the engine mount?  Why does it have to be behing?

That way there wouldn't be any issues with the engine angle or spinner clearance.

i'll look at an alternative install point on mine. And i ain't paying $390 for that piece of non fitting part -:)
