To get more legroom, I used Pat Hoyt's suggestion of firewall pockets. I tilted the pedals forward so the center of rudder pedal tube is 120 mm with rudder centered. Made firewall cutout for brake levers and rod. Pedal and brake cyl. position per plans. This adds 3.8" of leg room.

One clarification - In this photo, both brake levers are shown in the maximum rudder deflection position of 22 degrees. when cables are installed and rudder is centered, the brake levers are 58 mm to the rear of the position shown. An enclosure that is 35 mm (1.4 ") deep leaves ample clearance for this mod. Larry Zepp
