Left wing tip nose and trailing edge.

The trailing edge was pretty strait forward, used some heavy paper and outlined the shape, cut it down an bit and made a wood mold, checked the mold and cut some .020 to form it. The nose was a bit harder, had to trim a little on the paper and check it, trim some more, check it, etc. Once I had the paper fit, I cut out a wood form and the .020 and added 20mm lip. It was a little tricky as the bottom has the curve, but not too bad. The nose I drilled a hole every 20mm and cut out a small 'v', sort of like the root nose rib. It did not come out perfect, but the lip will be riveted to the inside and as long as I get a nice edge along the seam I think it will look presentable.
Tell me more about how you made that shape.
