The instrument panels were made in modules that were put together when the final aircraft was assembled on the airfield.

What am I talking about? - I weight about 90 kg.   Would have given a Weight & Balance problem, otherwise!!! Getting lbs and kilograms mixed up.   Sorry - I missed this error when I checked it through.   All the rest is correct.   Tony Oliver

Regarding leg room - I have found that I have plenty.    This is not to say it wasn't a major concern when I was building the panels - it was.   When I started to think about the minimum depth of these lower panels, I concluded that they would have to be a certain depth in order to get instruments, CBs, etc, in, so they are quite deep - as you can see.   I am  just short of six feet high and 190-ish kg, so I am of pretty average build.   During construction I did manage to sit in the cabin on a plank of wood and make an early assessment that it would be okay.    I have the fixed seats but made provision for them to occupy three positions.   For me - the rear position worked and for my Lead Pilot, who did the flight testing and was slightly shorter, the middle position worked.  For both of us, the lower part of our shins occupy a position under the lower panels. So, yes, it works for me - and I have plenty of space.   Tony Oliver

That is SWEET! How's the leg room with the extended bottom panel?
