The Whirl Wind 3 bladed prop seems to be a very good fit for the UL350iS on my STOL750. Here is pic of typical cruise. 2000' MSL, OAT 35F, 2600 RPM, cruises approx 85 KIAS. Dropping down to 2300 RPM slows the cruise down to 75 KIAS and approx 4 gals per hr on fuel flow versus 5.5

Hi Bob, yes, these are the 7" Classics.  The idea was to have redunancy on my displays in the event one display has to go back to Dynon for whatever reason, I can still fly and not be AOG.  The compromise was a smaller screen size to have room for two displays...10" screens would be easier on the eyes!

Are those the 7 inch Dynons? Been thinking about that setup for my 750.

Tim, the cruise is faster by 8-10 KIAS at the current pitch setting albiet with higher fuel flow, but the engine is well below the max continuous RPM of 2800 with the increased speed.  The fixed pitch Catto would need to be approx 3050 RPM to yield approx 83 KIAA.  Seems like I can get the nose off the ground a bit faster as well with equal climb rates.  So, yes, I would have to say it does indeed perform better than the Catto and has the benefit of being ground adjustable.  I will know better once I fly it a winter with the skis and then on floats next summer.

Is this better performance than your previous propeller which I believe was a Catto?

I have a buddy with a Whirl Wind prop on a RANS S7 Rotax912S. He loves it.
