I agree with you Jon.

The photo assembly did show the correct way by installing the gear strut fittings first, and pull all holes with clecos, and THEN its the time to install the seat pan.

As the Gear Strut Fitting will squeezed the fuselage and make a tight fit for the seat pan on both sides. Therefore there will be no gaps between the seat pan and the control tunnel sides.

But, the photo assembly manual did not mention about this, and as a result, mine have a gap about half inch on the pilot side seat pan and control tunnel sides.

glad to see you coming along, and you are using the silver clecoes on the seat area.  when i put my gear weldments on, the holes didnt line up with the back of the seat area and the lower seat attachment due to the fuselage getting squeezed together, still not sure what im going to do except for a call to caleb!!  i think if i cut the flange off the seat area next to the side of the cabin i should be able to move it over and get it to all line up and then add an L where i cut the flange off and attach the L to the seat area and then to the holes i drilled in the side cabin.  Seems like an easy fix just wish i didnt have to do it. i think this is why in the photo assembly guide they have you put the seat area in AFTER the gear weldment is attached.  good luck and keep up the nice work.
