Thank you everyone for the kind comments. I'm still trying to decide whether to stick with my original plan and get Roger out to do my first flight or just do it myself. My transition training with Buzzy went great and if my plane behaves like his, it would be no problem to do it myself but.... having never done this before, who knows what I might have done slightly wrong enough to cause issues.

But I don't like the idea of a newly certified plane, and a freshly 'transitioned' pilot sitting around looking at the sky.

Congratulations Paul! I knew you could do it. Now you have proven to yourself you have got what it takes. Now take your time to learn your airplane like you had to learn how to build it. Good luck.

Congrats Paul! I just passed the 6 year mark in May, hope to be flying this year. We will have to meet up somewhere in the middle!!!
