I made a 500' strip in this field on our property. Slight slope. Elevation is 4000' and both landing and takeoff are easily done in 100 to 150'.

hello from New Zealand that is a mint paint job

I came up with the basic scheme. Sherry (my wife) chose the colors and John Rogers (Aero Color, Homedale ID) did the painting. I didn't want straight, or sharp edged lines on this plane because air doesn't flow that way and the shape of a 701 already rather straight edged. Fades or transitions better represent the way air flows around a plane. So I chose flowing lines and transitions to counter the natural shape of the 701.

This is the first paint or wrap work that has stopped me cold in your tracks!  Did you have someone do it for you?  I'd love a chance to make this our color scheme! (It won't be for a few years though :-)

I was looking for a paint scheme for my 750. I think I found it! As Bob said - SICK paint job!

nice looking 701.

I have about 200 hours on the plane. It flies great. All stock, except for head rests (which I view as a safety modification), VGs on the elevator, and a fuel vapor return line. I am considering adding a tail wheel because on landing the tail can get quite close to the ground. I have touched it on a strip with some significant dips.

I believe "the kids call it SICK" ... which is the same as my generation's "COOL".  Great picture.
