I have to admit, when I was building my stol 750, I planned to install steam gauges because that is all I knew  since I got my private license  in 1979.  A couple of friends along with Roger convinced me otherwise and Zenith put together and sold me the complete package.  Being an old guy, I was a little overwhelmed when I got it all home, but one wire at a time, I had it working in a couple of weeks.  I’ve been flying the 750 for two years, this month, and it has worked great from the get go.  Not knocking anyones panel, but I really like everything about the G3x.

I am currently building a 650 and just received another Garmin panel which Roger went out of his way to help me get.  Not only does Zenith build and sell airplane kits, they are great to help putting together instrument panels, as well.  Thanks to Sebastien, Roger and and all the people at Zenith, they have been great.  I am 71 years old and look forward every day to flying or building, it’s been a dream finally coming true!

I missed the webinar today, hope they run it again.

Are you going to record this for folks that can’t join during the work day or repeat this at a more doable time for those that can’t attend?

When doing the "how much" math, don't forget to add the cost of data from Garmin over the life of the panel vs other solutions. Unless they have "reformed themselves", that where they get you vs the competition. No Garmin gear in my new panel.
