Mack, I just used the electric polisher that I bought with the Nuvite polish at Oshkosh a few years ago.  Maybe 3 passes of F9.  I also have 2 finer grades of polish, but am probably going to wait until after Phase 1 before I use them.

It's not really a mirror image.  That probably has as much to do with standing off at a distance than anything.  When you get close you can see that it needs to be gone over a few more times.  All in time......  :-)

Beautiful Bird! Like the color. I've painted the wings yellow and will paint the cowling yellow as well some accents along the fuselage.

Question:

I have polished a good portion of my XLB (6 passes) with Nuvite Grade 9 and I don't get the mirror image that your plane emulates. I know that there are two other steps, but I would think a person would get the mirror image with grade 9....

Any suggestions???
