Here's where the sensor is going. I'm missing a 90 degree elbow to mount on the filter to the fuel selector. I took the filter out initially but with the sensor it's recommended you have a filter installed before the sensor so I get to use my expensive filter setup now! It will be fixed to the console side.

For some reason I can't find the proper hardware on Spruce's site so I had to order from somewhere else. They're are not cheap either! :( Don't know why they don't carry these. I've had to order a lot of AN fittings from other places because Spruce doesn't carry them. I think they are missing out not carrying these.

The Bracket will be riveted to the floor once the plumbing is done. Right now it gives me a 1/2" of play which will be handy until everything is attached.

Word to the wise... if you decide to install something like this, do it BEFORE you close everything up! This wasn't fun to put in when everything is almost done but I'm happy I did! :)

Yeah, it plugs into the RDAC computer which feeds into my EMS display and shows the fuel burn just above the fuel level displays.  I've got mine set to show gal per hour.  With the GPS feed into the display it will show the range I have based on the fuel burn I have and the ground speed.  Didn't really need this in a small plane like this but the avionics package supports it so why not have it installed... the sensor is just over $200.

So this hooks up to your avionics so you know your fuel burn rate?
