A couple of wrinkles but I'm pretty pleased for my first ever try. Got all four sides done with a five foot length.

Meant to add this list link - Jean Paul has an excellent discussion of his effort with vinyl, did a fabulous job with no experience.

I realise my comment about the weight is wrong because the vinyl has backing paper on it that you tear off. I would say that weighs more than the vinyl so that 19 lbs should be at least halved.

I'm still learning as I go but for the rivets you can use a heat gun to on the vinyl which will let you stretch it, and then it returns to the original size when cool. This gives a nice fit around the rivets.

Looks great.  How did you manage around the rivets?  Did you need to do anything special?  I'm thinking of doing mine this way, but not sure yet.

Hi Dan, I didn't but the shipping notice says the package weighed 19 lbs, and it contained 324 inches of 5 feet wide vinyl. Take a little off for the box and a small amount of packaging and you have a ballpark.

And to answer your next question, I haven't worked out how much I will need in total.

Did you happen to weigh the vyinel before you put it on?
