Going to check out the K&N lineup of filters to see what might fit!

Does look very nice.  Whatever you do, don't forget to lock wire that oil filter.  Because of what happened to you, we changed to a K&N oil filter on our Viking 130, which is designed to be lock wired.

Yeah I looked at it and looked at it and couldn't understand how I could have goofed on that. Great to finally know the rest of the story.. Take care and stay healthy..

Good eye Tom!...the engine mount was designed with a 3 degree offset per Caleb (former Zenith aeroengineer) which may be why it looks that way.  The center bolt on the steel bungee is the same way on mine - closer to the right tube than the left.  With 156 hours on the setup, there is no indication of interference or contadt of any sort.

DAvid. This picture is excellent because it shows the upper engine mount attachment to the firewall. It looks to be slightly skewed to the left like mine. I thought I really messed up when I saw mine and how the center bolt on the spring pops up close to the right-side tube. At least I hope that's the way it's supposed to be.
