Hi Luke,

Yes, click on the "Previous" link above the pix of the drawing.  There are a total of 6 pix of my pulley assembly installation in that section of "My Photos".  If you send me your email address, I'll send you my installation notes and pix from original article.  The placement of the pulley in reference to center line may vary a little since all constructions by builders are not exactly the same.  It is necessary to add a short link in one cable to account for the new geometry.  The position of the pulley repositions the "pull" of one cable closer to the control tube axis.  Since the belcrank is offset to the right, the "pull" by the elevator cables are not equal at full left and right aileron.  The pulley location and the short additional cable link compensate for this geometry problem in the original design and make those pressures almost equal.  Many builders have become used to these pressure differences.  It bothered me so I added the pulley mod.  My suggestion would to build according to plans and after all rigging is complete, see if the aileron full deflection left and right with flaps full down feels ok to you.  Then decide if the pulley mod is something you want to do.

Interesting, is the purpose of the pully an attempt to limit the stretch i.e decrease the induced tension on the elevator cable when you push the stick to the right?

Is there any photos available of this Mod?
