I do not have access to my web site anymore!  I could ask Don, but I just let it there.  I will eventually upload my renovation pictures on Zenith Aero.

For the electrical system, I simplified it quite a bit now.  I removed one contactor and battery bus and I am going with a Cessna style master switch.  I kept the essential bus, the Over voltage protection and fuel pump on battery bus.  Still have common point for grounding on the firewall for anything close by.

Hi Michel,

Wow, Lots of work !  Good that you came back to it ! Hope to see you fly soon.

Get your website updated with photos or here anyway ! Always nice to see what is happenening...

I actually copied your electrical installation a long time ago... Finally made some modifications after flying as is for a while.

Talk to you soon,

Salut Normand,

I flew my 601 from 2004 until 2010.  Then I decided to replace the Subaru engine with an aircraft engine.  I haven't worked on this for some years, but now, the fuselage is at the paint shop and I am trying to finish restoring all flying surfaces (they were damaged by hail).  This renovation project is pretty extensive: new engine, new landing gear with 5.00X5 wheels, new skins, new elevator and ailerons, updated instruments panel, simplified electrical system and more...

Dynon heated pitot/AOA. The SafeAir mast is mounted directly on the inspection plate which is installed flush with the skin
