We welded the titanium rudder pedals this weekend. It is good to get back to the build.

Besides the front landing gear and firewall and rudder pedals we plan on using it in the flap control mixer. Should save about 8 lbs. overall.

Cool indeed!!!  Are you using it anywhere else? Any idea on the weight savings overall using titanium?

We own a fab shop and I bought the material from a shop I work with as drops from a job they did. It would normally be cost prohibitive to do this with all the special weld procedures but we wanted to make a very cool project.
