You have a nice plane too.I removed the mufflers because wanted save some weight , with the Continental O 200 the plane was close to the forward C of G limit.Longer ground roll needed.We have a short farm strip here ,so we looking for more HP and less weight.Sold the engine since ,but not decided what the replacement will be yet.The muffler was good , much quieter ,but extra weight and drag.If the noise is not a problem your sleeky plane does not need extra drag
