Disassembly pic 3 of thrust bearing interface
below the dust cover is a hard washer that protects the washer to spring joint. The thrust bearing wears on this hard washer. This thrust bearing interface is similar to what NASCAR uses below each spring on their shocks so that they can easily turn the adj nuts without galling/friction. Bearing is rated waaaay over what our load will be.
